Under this contract, Color-Ad provided de-installation services of the temporary exhibition “Through the African American Lens” and fabrication and installation services for the temporary exhibition “City of Hope: Resurrection City and the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign”. The gallery is located in the National Museum of American History in the NMAAHC gallery on the 2nd floor East Wing.
2018 marks the 50th anniversary year of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s death, and NMAAHC will present a special exhibition that commemorates the civil rights leader’s vision for a national antipoverty movement. Titled City of Hope: Resurrection City and the 1968 Poor People’s Campaign, the exhibit opened on December 15, 2017, and will run through December 2018.
