While having 20 of the highest mountain peaks in the United States, over 3 million lakes, and more than 100 volcanoes, Alaska is an adventure in itself. The best AND most fun place to learn more about the “Land of the Midnight Sun”, you ask? Located in Anchorage, the Alaska Public Lands Information Center hosts nearly 80,000 people yearly.
The center is home to many interactive, vibrant exhibits that interpret the natural, historical, and cultural features of Alaska. Recently, the entire center had a renovation including installation of new breathtaking exhibits. Some of these exhibits included audiovisual aspects!
Color-Ad was responsible for indoor and outdoor signage as well as interpretive exhibits. Our unique exhibits included audiovisual equipment and accessibility-compliant programs, systems, and services. Our goal while creating these structures for the National Park Service was to create the most immersive experience while keeping everything accessible. Words can only describe these exhibits to a point, so, take a look at the photos!
