The Design Minds
The Interpretive Center demonstrates the significance of the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail to the historical migration of the mid 1750-1810. Visitors “travel the trail” as an animal trace, experience a “Warriors Path” for Native Americans, and learn about the trail to freedom for Germans and Ultster Scots who pioneered the path into an early migration route that began the westward expansion and the seeds of Manifest Destiny. Visitors travel through the wilderness, retracing the footsteps of explorers searching for a passage through the Appalachian Mountain range.
Color-Ad was responsible for overall project management, value engineering, fabrication, and installation of the entire exhibit experience. Our team provided exhibit fabrication, graphic production, AV hardware integration and installation, track lighting, themed areas and scenic elements, and gallery wall fabrication.
