VMFA Fabergé and Russian Decorative Arts Exhibit

Color-Ad was responsible for the project management, detailing, fabrication, and installation of the entire casework package for the Fabergé and Russian Decorative Arts Exhibit at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The scope included 18 built-in wall cases, 2 four-sided floor cases, 6 three-sided floor cases, 5 pedestal cases, 2 wall-hung cases, 1 table case, and 64 fabric wrapped riser boxes for use as case furniture. All cases were conservation quality with desiccant materials and were fabricated from formaldehyde-free MDF and solid wood trim with a latex primer/paint finish on all exposed (interior and exterior) surfaces.
